launches campaign for Trumbull County State Representative seat

A 29-year Air Force veteran and command pilot, J.D. Williams currently holds the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. J.D. is the assistant to the wing commander and former squadron commander of the 757th Airlift Squadron at our own Air Reserve Base, located at the Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport in Vienna Township. This unit is a combat-ready Air Wing, and one of our nation’s finest!

J.D. is a Gulf War veteran, having served and deployed for three tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. He has flown more than 4,500 hours in the C-130.

J.D. Williams and his family reside in Liberty Township. He is a commercial pilot flying the Boeing 767 on domestic and international flights for United Airlines. He also serves on the Legislative Committee for O’Hare Council 12, Air Line Pilots Association (ALPA) and is a delegate member of the Trumbull/Mahoning Counties Central Labor Council and the Cleveland North Shore Labor Council/AFL-CIO.
